A young voice
rooted in tradition

Anirudh Ramkumar is a Chennai-based classical musician of rare breadth: a Carnatic vocalist, mridangam artist, Hindustani Dhrupad singer, and student of Kathakali padams, all at once.

Growing up in Chennai immersed in the world of Indian classical music, Anirudh approaches each tradition with sincerity, curiosity, and joy. He has a rare ability to sing and play the mridangam simultaneously in performance, a feat that speaks to his deep understanding of both melody and rhythm. He studies at Sishya School, Adyar, Chennai.
